  1. I know my daughter Jenny was there at Peter’s gate to welcome your Mother Elizabeth and for that I am glad. May God hold her in the palm of his hand until we all meet our loved ones again.

  2. I NEVER KNEW ELIZABETH EDWARDS. BUT I FEEL I KNEW HER OVER THESE LAST 6 YEARS. MY SISTER-IN-LAW BRIGITTE FOUND OUT SHE HAD BREAST CANCER AND HAD THE SAME UPS AND DOWNS AT THE SAME TIME. I ALSO READ ALL HER BOOKS AND FEEL LIKE I KNEW HER. WHAT A COURAGEOUS,KIND,STRONG HUMAN BEING. SHE WOULD BE A PERSON TO LOOK UP TO FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE. SHE ALSO IS A GOOD ROLE MODEL FOR MANY REASONS. SURE WISH I KNEW HER THOUGH WHAT A GREAT FRIEND SHE WOULD HAVE BEEN. MY SISTER-IN-LAW WAS A GREAT PERSON ALSO. SHE ALSO DIED ON DECEMBER 1ST, 2010. SO NOW THERE IS TWO GREAT HUMAN BEINGS IN HEAVEN HAVING A GREAT CHRISTMAS PARTY.
THE FOLLOWED EACH OTHER ALL THE WAY TO HEAVEN AND DIDN’T EVEN KNOW EACH OTHER. MY CONDOLENCES TO THE BEAUTIFUL FAMILY SHE HAS CREATED. THEY WILL MOVE ON IN LIFE AND CARRY HER IN THEIR HEARTS FOREVER. I DON’T KNOW IF CHRISTMAS WAS HER FAVORITE TIME OF YEAR BUT IT WAS FOR MY SISTER-IN-LAW.

MERRY CHRISTMAS FROM OUR FAMILY TO YOURS.

  3. As her daughter, Cate, stated in her eulogy of her mother, Elizabeth Edwards “could bring out the brave in anyone.” She certainly modeled bravery in all the many challenges she faced in her life.

It is indeed important to learn to be assertive and brave in this life, while continuing to be kind and nurturing at the same time. A tricky balance to achieve, yet Elizabeth Edwards managed to maintain that balance with grace through it all. She remains a person for everyone to look up to.

  4. God graced us all with the gift of your mother and her strength.

  5. May your family continue to have faith and sweet memories of such a wonderful woman. Even in the end, she was as graceful as anyone can be.
    Bless all of you.

  6. I wish we all had the strength your mother had I didn’t know her personally but admired her strength, wisdom and dedication to her children.May god be with you all in your journey, as I know from experience has I lost a parent at a very young age.

  7. pretty sure had read one time that Elizabeth had said how she loved hearing the laughter and fighting and everyday life of her children – having wanted them badly and at a later age. that was so sweet to read about her. she was a wonderful person.
    My condolences,

  8. I did not personally know Elizabeth Edwards, but I always admired the person she was. I have read her books and was deeply touched by her courage, her determination, and her love for her children. I have heard it said “There are angels among us.” Cate, Emma, and Jack, your mom was one of those angels. God bless all of you and help you through the difficult days ahead.

I did not personally know Elizabeth Edward, but I just found out about her no longer with us. I was so sad and I couldn’t sleep at night for a while. I just couldn’t believe that she is not alive. Just made me so sad for what she went through….I just couldn’t believe that she is not here any more…I will miss her for ever…God Bless !!
